He earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in Denver and is licensed to practiced dentistry in Florida and Connecticut. Since completing his training program in Denver, he has pursued additional training in the areas of Cosmetic and Implant Reconstruction. Upon his graduation, Dr. Ahmed practiced dentistry in Connecticut before moving back to Florida. In 2007, he was awarded the status of Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Ahmed also holds a dental degree from India with experience in treating underserved population both at home and abroad.

After practicing as an associate dentist in Connecticut and in Central Florida, including Orange, Brevard, and Lake counties, Dr. Ahmed established his own dental practice in Lake Mary, Florida. His office philosophy is centered on creating a high standard of care that is innovative, gentle, and efficient.  His office is equipped with the experience and technology to provide a welcoming experience for patients. The office utilizes the most up-to-date practices and technology in cosmetic dental care.  Dr. Ahmed is best known for his extraordinary work in both cosmetic and implant reconstruction dentistry. His treatment specializations include teeth whitening, Invisalign, dental fillings, porcelain veneers, crowns, and bridges.

Dr. Ahmed has mastered the process of creating beautiful porcelain veneer restorations, especially for patients who have misaligned teeth. He is also an expert in other cosmetic procedures including invisible teeth straightening treatment (Invisalign) and in-office teeth whitening. Dr. Ahmed is also fluent in Urdu, Hindi, and Kannada.

When he is not working, Dr. Ahmed is involved in various community and volunteer activities. He enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, kayaking, cricket, and mountain biking.
