​Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Dr. Akshaya V. Jagadale is a board-certified fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Radiology.  With a robust academic background, following in her father’s footsteps she completed her medical school and diagnostic radiology residency in India before pursuing further specialization in the United States. She completed a diagnostic radiology residency and MSK/MRI Body fellowship at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences.

Dr. Jagadale’s professional journey is marked by a commitment to excellence in radiology, with expertise in musculoskeletal and body imaging. Her current role focuses on interpreting MSK and body imaging cases, contributing significantly to diagnostic accuracy and patient care.

Actively involved in professional societies, Dr. Jagadale is a member of prominent organizations such as the Society of Skeletal Radiology, the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) and the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS). Her commitment to advancing radiology is evident through her presentations at numerous conferences, including RSNA and ARRS annual meetings, where she has received awards for educational exhibits and oral presentations.

Dr. Jagadale’s academic achievements include being awarded the National Merit Scholarship for academic excellence and distinctions during medical school. Notably, she received certificates of merit for educational exhibits at RSNA on topics such as soft tissue sarcomas, hip arthroplasty implants, and ankle arthroplasty complications. Her research contributions are published in prestigious journals, reflecting her dedication to advancing radiology knowledge. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi.

Outside of work, Dr. Jagadale values family time with her husband Vivek, an orthopedic joint replacement surgeon, and their son Arnav. She finds relaxation in traveling, exploring Florida’s beaches and national parks, reading autobiographies of notable personalities, and gardening.
