Amish M. Parikh, MD, is a Central Florida native and University of Miami alumni. Dr. Parikh attended medical school at the University of South Florida; he completed his residency at Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital and his Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Florida-Shands Hospital in Jacksonville. Dr. Parikh founded Premier Cardiology & Vascular Associates in 2011 with the principal location in Maitland and a satellite office in Baldwin East Plaza.
During the past 13 years at his practice, Dr. Parikh has formed a team of highly qualified board-certified providers who practice with his same philosophy of care. As the cardiac needs of our Central Florida residents change and grow, Dr. Parikh adjusts and adds services to facilitate and expedite getting them the best healthcare possible. For example, he recently began a Surgical Clearance Clinic, minimizing the wait time to within one to two weeks, reducing the stress a patient can experience during this time. Dr. Parikh takes a patient-centered approach to heart care: to understand the root cause of his patients’ disease or disorder, to define a path of medical treatment, and, most importantly, to partner with each patient in their longevity by inspiring a healthy lifestyle at any age. Our commitment is to provide holistic partnerships by inspiring a clear roadmap to the patient’s long-term heart health.
As part of their ongoing enthusiasm to support various charitable and philanthropic activities in Orlando, Dr. Parikh and his wife Beena have been added to the “Donor Wall” at the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts, support the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, and serve on several advisory boards throughout the community.
