Culbertson, Jacobs & LaBoda, PLLC

Barry LaBoda has more than 40 years of experience in social security disability law as an attorney and judge. He joined Culbertson, Jacobs & LaBoda, PLLC, as a partner after retiring as a federal administrative law judge. Mr. LaBoda served as an administrative law judge with the Social Security Administration for thirteen years and with the Office of Medicare Hearings and Appeals for two years. He practiced law in Orlando for twenty-five years before becoming a judge at his own law office and the Legal Aid Society. Mr. LaBoda continues to represent disabled people before the Social Security Administration throughout the State of Florida. 

Mr. Laboda has been active in local bar associations for many years. He was the founding chairperson of the Social Security Committee of the Orange County Bar Association. He served as a vice president of the Federal Bar Association’s Orlando Chapter. Mr. LaBoda is a member of the Florida Bar, the Orange and Seminole County Bar Associations, the Seminole Inn of Court, the Federal Bar Association and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives. 

At home, Mr. LaBoda and his wife, Laura, a retired teacher, enjoy exploring local parks and reserching family history.
