Bernard George is one of the brightest rising stars in central Florida’s new generation of local government attorneys. As a Senior Associate with the municipal law firm Marsha Segal-George PA, as well as part-time counsel with the Callan Law Firm, PA, Mr. George has a wide breadth of experience representing both local governments and private entities throughout central Florida.
Mr. George began his career in 2013 as an Associate with the Callan Law Firm practicing property and eminent domain law. He worked directly under former Chair of the Florida Bar’s Eminent Domain Committee, Thomas P. Callan, representing both government entities and landowners. A former Assistant City Attorney for the City of Deltona, Mr. George has helped government clients navigate the unique legal challenges imposed on municipalities by the COVID 19 pandemic. He has also handled a variety of controversial issues relating to free speech, government access, privacy, and public meeting decorum.
A Florida native from Fort Myers Beach, Mr. George is a 2006 graduate of Florida State University. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans, LA in 2012 and became a member of the Florida Bar in 2013. He has lived in the greater Orlando area for the past 11 years.
Mr. George offers a variety of legal services for government entities, private businesses or individuals in the central Florida area on matters involving municipal law and eminent domain.
