Beth’s Burger Bar
Beth Steele, a native of Upstate New York, now calls Orlando, Florida her home. Affectionately nicknamed “Wonder Woman” by her friends and family, Beth embodies tenacity and excellence in both her personal and professional pursuits. She is the founder of several successful ventures, including Team Staffing Services, Shades Hopes Dreams, Beth’s Burger Bar, and Hooker Booker, all while excelling as an offshore angler, notably winning the 2022 Swordfish Tournament.
In 1995, Beth launched Team Staffing Services, specializing in staffing light industrial, hospitality, and clerical roles. Through hard work and a talent for building strong relationships, she grew her company into one of Central Florida’s top staffing agencies, earning accolades such as “Top 20 Woman-Owned Businesses” and “Top 20 Staffing Agencies.” Team Staffing continues to create opportunities for thousands in Central Florida.
In honor of her mother, Joyce Steele, who passed away from cancer in 2011, Beth established the nonprofit Shades Hopes Dreams. The organization raises awareness and support for cancer patients and their families, inspired by her mother’s strength during her battle.
Beth’s entrepreneurial spirit also led to the creation of Beth’s Burger Bar in 2012. Known for its customizable burgers and award-winning menu, the restaurant has expanded to five locations across Central Florida. It has been repeatedly recognized as serving the “Best Burger in Town,” earning accolades like Orlando Magazine’s “Best Burger” and “Late Night Dining” awards from 2016 to 2024.
Beth Steele serves as a dedicated member of the Edgewood City Council in Florida and enjoys giving back, supporting organizations; Big Brothers Big Sisters, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and local schools. When not working, Beth enjoys offshore fishing, running Hooker Booker, and chasing her goal of landing a record-breaking swordfish. Her current record stands at 441 pounds—further proof she truly is a “Woman of Steel.”
