Meet Bruce Wayne Batts, Attorney, and Pastor.
His journey began when Bruce’s mother asked him to accompany her on an errand to visit someone at a Law Firm one day. Little did he know that this single visit would shape the course of his entire life. From that day onward, Bruce set his heart on a singular goal – to become an attorney himself.
After graduating from high school, Bruce wasted no time and pursued a marketing degree at Florida A&M University, which he proudly earned in 1977. Despite finding employment in the private sector and later in corrections, the dream of being an attorney continued to beckon him. Feeling restless, Bruce realized that his true calling could only be fulfilled by attaining a law degree.
Determined to turn his dream into reality, Bruce relied on his faith in Jesus, and his prayers were answered. At the age of 30, in January 1984, Bruce finally entered the prestigious University of Florida Levin College of Law.
In 1986, Bruce Wayne Batts emerged from the corridors of academia with a Juris Doctor Degree, and a proud member of the Gator Nation, ready to take on the world of law. He began his legal career as a prosecutor at the State Attorney’s Office in Orlando, Florida, dedicating and upholding justice on behalf of the state. His path soon took a transformative turn as he transitioned into a criminal defense attorney. With a heart for compassion and understanding, he began championing the rights of those entangled in the criminal justice system, helping them to receive a second chance at life.
For the past twenty years, Bruce Wayne Batts has directed his formidable legal expertise to the realm of personal injury law. His focus on helping the victims of car accidents, shootings, and pursuing wrongful death claims on behalf of grieving families has earned him a reputation as a compassionate advocate.
