His love for his patients and his family-oriented nature align with both his professional and personal life philosophy. His most rewarding passion is getting to know his patients and helping them with creative ways to solve their problems with daily life issues. Reflecting on his approach to dentistry, Dr. Edwards says, “Every person is different. Every situation is different.” This philosophy is deeply ingrained in his practice and resonates with the many patients who have trusted him with their dental health since childhood. Now, Dr. Edwards’ grown patients are bringing their children to the practice for his expert care. In a rapidly changing world, the continuity and trust Dr. Edwards provides are both rare and cherished.
In an often stressful environment for patients, his strive for consistency and warmth flows over into his team. Most of his team have worked alongside him for over 20 years. This has built a dynamic of trust and familiarity that patients have come to know and respect.
Dr. Edwards has been serving the Greater Central Florida area for 40 years. He was born in Orlando and graduated from Boone High School. He attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and received his Bachelor of Science in biology. He attended Emory University for his dental degree. From there, he performed his Dental General Practice Residency at the Medical College of Virginia/VA Hospital in Richmond, VA.
