Carmen Sierra, MD

Dr. Carmen Sierra is committed to her patients’ health and well-being. She started practicing medicine in 1989 in Soestererg, the Netherlands, with medical interests in family medicine, dermatology and anti-aging, and end-of-life care. Dr. Sierra treats patients of all ages, performing adult physical exams, well-woman exams, well-child exams and Medicare annual wellness visits.  

Carmen earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras. She attended medical school at the University of Zaragoza in Spain, and completed her residency work at the Dr. Alejandro Otero Lopez Hospital in Manati, PR. Dr. Sierra has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Medicine (AAFP) since 1996. She practiced family medicine in Chicago for several years, then moved to Central Florida and continued practicing family medicine. She enjoys teaching medicine as an associate professor at the University of Florida’s College of Medicine.  

In her free time, Dr. Sierra enjoys cooking and traveling. She is fluent in Spanish.
