Their team of physicians, nurse practitioners and research professionals have successfully conducted thousands of clinical trials at this premier downtown Orlando research center. Their dedication to research has culminated in the approval of over 100 FDA approved medications over the years. Those of which are now commonly prescribed and available at local pharmacies and have contributed to the well-being of hundreds of millions across the globe.

Their success has caught the attention of the likes of primary care practices and specialty practices looking to expand. The allure of an additional service line and the opportunity to offer clinical trials as an enhanced care option can be very attractive. However, as many practices have found, with clinical research, comes a myriad of nuances, many of which create unexpected challenges. Having recognized these challenges, CNS Healthcare is meeting the call and has partnered with local practices to help make the integration of clinical research a success. 

Recognizing that a one-size-fits-all isn’t feasible, there are several partnership models that CNS Healthcare and partner practices are engaged in. In some arrangements CNS Healthcare will deploy a team of research professionals who are experienced in establishing a research department within the practice. The research department will then manage all aspects of clinical research including trial placement, regulatory oversight, patient recruitment, project management, etc. while the practice provider(s) need only provide clinical oversight and conduct procedures as deemed by the study protocol. In other cases, they may simply support the practice in specific activities such as the recruitment of patients or IRB/regulatory functions. Each partnership is forged with an understanding of the challenges each practice is facing and can be fully-customized to meet unique challenges.

They can also help established research sites or private practices who are new to clinical research with the implementation of SiteCentric, a cloud-based Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) that puts all elements needed to run clinical trials efficiently into one platform with one log-in. This one-of-a-kind system was developed using over 25 years of input from their research experts and has been instrumental in the success of their research sites in Orlando, FL, Jacksonville, FL and Memphis, TN. To date, no CTMS system on the market comes close to SiteCentric capabilities and its’ built-in workflow efficiencies.
