Celebration Family Physicians
Drs. Craig and Johanna Yunk are Board-Certified Family Medicine physicians devoted to both medicine and family, raising four young boys while caring for their community. Their journey began at St. George’s University Medical School, where they met. After completing residency together at AdventHealth (formerly Florida Hospital), they remained on staff for several years. Wanting to create deeper community connections, they opened Celebration Family Physicians in August 2020. Their shared passion for wellness and personalized care is at the heart of their practice.
Dr. Craig Yunk
Dr. Craig Yunk is Medical Director and co-founder of Celebration Family Physicians. Originally from Manhattan, Kansas, he graduated from Kansas State University and earned his medical degree from St. George’s University. At Florida Hospital, he was Chief Resident and named Resident of the Year. He previously helped launch Advent Health’s Family Medicine of Celebration and currently serves on the Board for the Advent Health Physician Network. He also has a passion for teaching and is a faculty preceptor for Florida State University medical students.
Dr. Johanna Gulmatico Yunk
Dr. Johanna Yunk, co-founder and manager of the practice, was born in the Philippines and raised in New York City. She holds a degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology from Emory University and graduated with honors from St. George’s University. After residency, she served as a hospitalist at AdventHealth Celebration and now at Apopka. She currently chairs the Department of Medicine and directs the Surgical Unit at the Apopka campus.

Celebration Family Physicians delivers exceptional, patient-centered care to the greater Orlando area, including Celebration, Kissimmee, Windermere, Winter Garden and Davenport. Services include preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatric care, women’s and men’s health, vaccinations, skin procedures, joint injections, Botox and other aesthetics.
