Dr. Wiernik attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL, on a 4-year academic scholarship and received his B.S. in Biology and M.S in Biomedical Science. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.) from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, FL, where he graduated with honors. He completed his foot and ankle surgical residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando.

Dr. Wiernik has been the Chief of Podiatry in the Department of Orthopaedics at Orlando Health for the past six years.

Dr. Wiernik is a faculty member of the Florida Hospital Podiatric Surgery Residency Program and a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
