Dr. Wong is a distinguished physiatrist specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His academic journey includes earning undergraduate and graduate engineering degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MD from Columbia University. He further honed his expertise with teaching appointments at Harvard Medical School, where he contributed to the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. While at Harvard, Dr. Wong also spearheaded the creation of the first websites for two major Boston hospital systems, reflecting his commitment to innovation.

Dr. Wong’s career spans impressive milestones, including launching the TBI research site at Fort Hood, Texas, for the federal government’s Defense and Veterans Brain Injury Center (DVBIC) program. His service continued at DVBIC headquarters in Washington, D.C., where he helped develop clinical recommendations for cognitive rehabilitation for service members with mild-to-moderate traumatic brain injuries (TBI). He also initiated updates to clinical guidelines addressing concussion-related sleep disturbances.

Currently, Dr. Wong serves as Chief Medical Officer at MD Diagnostic Specialists in Florida. He focuses on treating patients with severe or catastrophic injuries, particularly those with multiple trauma and TBI. Dr. Wong’s approach is both evidence-based and holistic, integrating the latest neuroscience tools with practical, personalized care. By providing comprehensive treatment or coordinating services, he ensures tailored care for every patient.

Beyond medicine, Dr. Wong is an avid contributor to the online foodie community, with a fondness for Michelin-starred cuisine. In his free time, he enjoys strategy games inspired by classical and medieval history and cherishes moments with family in the Orlando area.
