Dr. Gene Krishingner MD is honored for being selected for the Doctors of The Year award and shares his success with the team of staff and providers at Women’s & Maternity Care.
Women’s & Maternity Care Specialists is a premier OB/GYN practice in Winter Park that opened in 2013, now expanded to 3 locations in the Central Florida area. Dr. Krishingner and his wife Christa, started the practice with the idea of creating a tailored OB/GYN experience unique to doctor’s offices. They soon added a Medspa, (Laser & Aesthetics Studio of Winter Park,) which accentuates the style and boutique atmosphere of the practice. Now with four full time OB/GYN providers, two full time medical aestheticians, and a staff of more than 16 employees, the practice and medspa has grown into its own with a reputation for excellence in care and exceptional patient satisfaction.
Dr. Gene Krishingner MD
Dr. Krishingner has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Central Florida for over 15 years and served 8 years active duty as a doctor in the military. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Krishingner is trained in robotic and minimally invasive gynecological surgery and is currently the OB/GYN Department Chair at AdventHealth Winter Park.
Dr. Kathryn Gottschalk DO
Dr. Gottschalk has been practicing for two years in the private practice setting and has a deep passion for women’s health care. She performed her OB/GYN residency with The University of Central Florida College of Medicine after graduating from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Gottschalk is trained in robotic and minimally invasive surgery and is known for her personalized and compassionate care of expecting mothers.
Marie Mathurin CNM
Marie Mathurin, CNM, DNP, CLC is a certified nurse midwife and lactation counselor. She earned both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida. Marie has vast experience in many areas including labor and delivery, mother/infant ward, and perinatal high risk.
Sarah Wilson ARNP – Women’s Health
Sarah Wilson ARNP, FNP-C is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a special interest in women’s health. She completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Florida and later graduated summa cum laude with her Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) at the University of Central Florida.
Christa Krishingner Owner-operator
Christa Krishingner is co-founder and administrator of both the OB/GYN practice and medspa. She is active and busy in community projects and has a high passion for women’s health, especially in the area of sexual wellness and healthy living.
Laser & Aesthetics Studio
The Studio offers a fully comprehensive panel of services from medspa facials, laser resurfacing and hair removal, to full body contouring and skin tightening, including intimate wellness and rejuvenation for women. The staff, Brittni Zotti, CME and Gabriela Cova, CME, have true passion for helping clients feel beautiful, inside and out. Brittni is known for her personality and knowledge of medical aesthetics, and works alongside Dr. Krishingner offering state-of-the-art laser services. For clients who love to relax, Gabriela is a true facial specialist who loves the healing art of touch.
