Dr. John Keelan is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Physician based in Winter Park, FL, with nearly 15 years of experience dedicated to preventing, diagnosing, and treating neuromusculoskeletal conditions. His passion lies in helping patients reclaim their quality of life by relieving pain, restoring function, and promoting long-term well-being. Conditions he treats include neck and back pain, sciatica, disc injuries, headaches, sports injuries, arthritis, shoulder and knee pain, and whiplash-related injuries.
He is the founder of SpinalMed Injury and Chiropractic, where he provides innovative, evidence-based care with a strong focus on non-surgical spinal decompression for neck and back conditions and comprehensive injury recovery. This highly effective treatment helps patients suffering from herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, and spinal stenosis avoid surgery and experience long-lasting relief. Dr. Keelan’s comprehensive, patient-centered method combines advanced technology with hands-on care to deliver measurable, life-changing results.
Dr. Keelan is also a member of MLS’s Orlando City SC Sports Medicine Team, where he provides weekly chiropractic care to the club’s professional athletes. Now entering his fourth season with the team, he helps optimize player performance, accelerate recovery, and prevent injuries at the highest level of competition.
Born in Red Bank, NJ, and raised in Lake Mary, FL, Dr. Keelan graduated from Bishop Moore High School before earning a baseball and academic scholarship to Campbell University, where he was a four-year starter. After launching a promising career in finance with Merrill Lynch, he found his true calling in chiropractic, inspired by his family and his own sports injury recovery. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College in Port Orange, FL.
Outside of work, he enjoys golf and giving back to his community, along with spending time with his wife, Crystal, and their son, Johnny.
