Dr. Cote is a premier periodontist and dental implant specialist in the Orlando, FL area. He is committed to delivering high quality care using the latest technology and most current research, while making his patients feel relaxed and comfortable.

Dr. Cote is a Board Certified Periodontist and US Army veteran. He received in-depth specialty training through the US Army Residency Program at Fort Gordon, GA, and advancing to the rank of Major, he continued to reinforce his skills.

A Central Florida native, Dr. Cote was thrilled to return home and take over a thriving private practice in Altamonte Springs. At Cote Periodontics, he offers cutting-edge procedures such as the LANAP laser, which provides a successful, less painful alternative to traditional periodontal surgery, and intraoral scanning, which replaces the need for messy dental impressions with the swipe of a wand. The practice uses cone beam 3-dimentional imaging, aiding Dr. Cote in achieving more predictable treatment outcomes. Additionally, Dr. Cote is credentialed in oral and IV sedation, ensuring his patients are comfortable during care.

A commitment to lifetime learning guarantees Dr. Cote’s patients are in the best hands. As a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, he regularly attends their meetings and continuing education courses. He is also a member of the Southern Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association, is active in the Florida Dental Association House of Delegates, and is on the Board of Directors for the Dental Society of Greater Orlando.

Since its inception in 2017, Cote Periodontics has strived to make a positive impact on the community. The office’s mission statement is “to transform the health, well being and smiles of our patients and to serve the people of Central Florida.” Participating in the Basket Brigade of Central Florida, Dr. Cote, family and office team members assembled and hand-delivered Thanksgiving baskets to local residents in need. Cote Periodontics is also always thankful to serve lunch at the Arnold Palmer Hospital Ronald McDonald House and to participate in pumpkin decorating for their children’s hospital. Dr. Cote sponsors both the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando Men’s Night Out and Winter Park’s Methodist School for Early Education Fall Festival, proceeds from both going towards youth education. Last winter, Cote Periodontics sent out nearly 30 Christmas stockings to deployed active duty soldiers and veterans in the hospital. They also adopted 3 military families and fulfilled their Christmas wish lists.

Nominated Father of the Year for four years running by sons Rhett and Grey, Dr. Cote spends his free time with his wife, children and two wild terriers. He is an avid reader, enjoys running and is a die-hard Gator fan.
