Dr. Mikal Baaqee strives to give his patients the smile they have always wanted while maintaining proper oral health. Whether it’s via implant placement, cosmetics, dentures, or numerous other procedures, he is dedicated to achieving perfection.

Dr. Mikal Baaqee earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Virginia Tech and was a three-year starter for the Hokies football team, leading them in tackles two out of his three years. He was voted team captain in 2004 while leading his team to an ACC championship. Dr Baaqee signed on as a free agent to play in the National Football League for the Indianapolis Colts and after his football career he earned his Master of Science degree from Towson University. Dr. Baaqee earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery credentials from the University of Maryland and went on to do a one-year general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs in Baltimore, Maryland. While there he was trained on many advanced techniques such as implant placement, sinus augmentations, veneers, advanced root canal therapy, 3D guided surgical techniques, wisdom tooth removal, and full mouth rehabilitation.

Dr. Baaqee is a member of the Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and takes over 50 hours of continuing education courses each year, ensuring that he stays on the cusp of what is current to offer to his patients.

Dr. Baaqee practices with his mother, Dr. Susanne Baaqee, at a state-of-the-art facility, Classic Smiles, in Ocoee. Together they both believe in making sure that their patients are served well by the most advanced and cutting-edge technology available. From their iTero scanner for their INVISALIGN patients to their 3D Kavo machine for implant guided surgery, they believe in giving their patients 5-star quality dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Baaqee enjoys watching college football, grilling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his wife and children.
