Dr. Priscilla Ramos is a Board Certified Optometrist who has dedicated her career to helping patients correct and improve their vision and maintain healthy eyes and overall good health through exceptional quality eye care and education.
Dr. Ramos earned dual Bachelor degrees in Nutritional Sciences and Zoology at the University of Florida. After working as an optometric technician she decided to continue giving the gift of sight. She attended the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago where she graduated Cum Laude in 2007. After graduation, she then returned to the Orlando area.
Dr. Ramos currently owns three practices alongside her husband, Dr. Erik Buckley, originally from Wisconsin, whom she met in optometry school.
Dr. Justine Philbin joined the practice in 2014. With more than 10 years experience, Dr. Ramos and her colleagues provide comprehensive eye exams and specialize in pediatric exams, treatment and management of ocular disease, specialty contact lens fittings and co-management with other doctors.
Dr. Ramos is a member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, Central Florida Society of Optometric Physicians and Optometry Divas. She also enjoys volunteering her time. While in Chicago, she was President of SVOSH and traveled to Nicaragua to provide eye care. She also worked with Special Olympics. She has served on the Board for Susan G. Komen and as Assistant Committee Chair in Junior League of Greater Orlando. She is also on the Board of Heathrow Modern Moms and St. Anne’s Ministry at her church.
Outside of seeing patients and community involvement, she enjoys spending time with all her family. She loves traveling, photography, and watching the Florida Gators. Dr. Ramos is fluent in both English and Spanish and is proud of her Ecuadorian heritage.
