EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Dr. Baker obtained his Medical Doctorate at the University of Florida. He completed his fellowship at Tulane University in New Orleans. He obtained a BS degree in biology at Florida A&M University. Dr. Baker is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist.

GREATEST PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS:
Dr. Baker was recommended for and was accepted into the prestigious Musser-Burch Honor Society during his fellowship at Tulane University. He served 10 years as Chief of Gastroenterology at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He also served as managing partner at the largest gastroenterology group in Orlando for two years. He is now the proud CEO of his own private practice, Gastroenterology Specialists of Orlando.

GREATEST PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT:
His lovely family. He has been married for 33 years and has two wonderful children. Dr. Baker is also listed as a member in “Leading Physicians of the World.”

Awards:
Dr. Baker has also been voted several times by the prestigious Orlando Magazine as one of Central Florida’s “Top Doc.’s” and he is mentioned in Orlando Style Magazine as one of Florida’s Elite Doctors. He is well known and has numerous articles with the local Orlando Times Magazine.

SPECIALTY:
Dr. Baker is an expert in the techniques of Endoscopy, Colonoscopy and other gastroenterology procedures.

WHAT SETS HIM APART:
Dr. Baker takes pride in making sure his patents leave his office with a comprehensive understanding of their illness and how they can work together to improve their health. Dr. Baker believes that a doctor should be a healer and a teacher in order to give the best care to patients.

OFF HOURS:
Dr. Baker is a collector of fine art and a jazz music connoisseur. He collects antiques and rare cognacs and enjoys the outdoor world, especially bass fishing.

CHARITABLE WORK:
Dr. Baker is involved in a number of charities and organizations to which he devotes time and contributions.
