Dr.-Brooks started Nona Kid’s dental practice in Lake Nona ten months ago. The pediatric dental specialty training focuses on growth, medical understanding and special needs of children starting at birth through teenage years. Her expert training of pediatric dentistry contributed to being on a Cleft Palate/Craniofacial team and Children’s Sleep Apnea Challenges and Corrections and Hospital Dentistry. Her specialty degree of pediatric dentistry from Howard University College of Dentistry has been thorough and encompassing.

Philosophy of Children’s Dentistry
Nona Kid’s dental has grown to success from the excellent parents’ reviews placed on social media; the new style of ‘Word of Mouth’. Our goal is to prevent dental decay by providing ‘well dental checkups’ starting at one year old just like ‘well baby checkups’ done by the pediatrician to keep the child healthy. Nona Kid’s pediatric dentists have two years of specialty education after dental school to focus their career on treating children’s dental needs and behavior management. Pediatric Dental Involvement
Dr. Brooks love for children’s dentistry was shared as the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry regional President of the Southwestern Pediatric Dental Society. Her dental mission to Accra Ghana was rewarding for the children and herself. Her involvement on Head Start boards and community health fairs provides service to the community. She served on Concord’s Dental advisory board for the dental assistant program and dental hygienist program.
