Dr. Wendi teaches, an infection in your mouth is an infection in your head traveling either up (your brain) or down (your heart). Research continually shows the connection between oral bacteria and heart disease, strokes, low birth weight babies, diabetes, pulmonary disease, and many cancers. We believe education and information decrease fear and disease. 80% of your immune system is in your digestive system and the door of this system is your mouth. Oral health doesn’t stop with teeth; you cannot be healthy without a healthy head because “A Healthy Mouth IS a Healthy You”. Please read the upcoming Surgeon General Report 2019 for more details. “Be healthy and be blessed.”
