Dr. Yasmeen Awada

Dr. Yasmeen Awada was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Awada achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry as a magna cum laude from the University of Toledo. She earned her Doctorate of Optometry as a magna cum laude from the University of the Incarnate Word-Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, TX in 2015. Dr. Awada completed a residency in Primary Eye Care at Malcom Randall VA in Gainesville, FL in 2016. Dr. Awada has special interest in ocular disease and specialty contact lenses. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Florida Optometric Association, Gold Key Optometric Society, and Beta Sigma Kappa. When she is not in the clinic, she prefers to spend time with her family and friends, traveling, and hanging out at Disney World.
