Orlando Neurosurgery

Dr. Ravi H. Gandhi is an accomplished neurological surgeon who is fellowship trained in cerebrovascular skull-based neurosurgery and endovascular neurosurgery. Part of the impressive lineup of top Florida physicians under the Orlando Neurosurgery banner, Dr. Gandhi is also part of an elite neurosurgical team at the Advent Health Neuroscience Institute.
Dr. Gandhi specializes in the detection and treatment of complex brain and spinal tumors, blood vessel disease of the head and neck, and emergency treatment of neurological trauma and stroke. He is published in a variety of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and speaks regularly at medical forums and community outreach events.

Dr. Gandhi’s diligence has always been prominent throughout his professinal career. As an award-winning student, he finished his undergraduate training in Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins University and medical school at St. George’s University. He completed both his surgical internship and neurosurgery residency at Albany Medical Center. He then completed an Endovascular Neurosurgery fellowship where he learned advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques for treating the brain and spine.

An active member of American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Florida Neurosurgical Society and Central Florida Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, Dr. Gandhi devotes his time to furthering the future of Neurosurgery.

When Dr. Gandhi isn’t saving lives, you can find him immersing himself in the vibrant Central Florida community. He exemplifies his care for others by supporting many charities and philanthropic organizations that lead medical research or advance patient care in fields related to brain cancer, pediatric brain disorders and stroke. In May, Dr. Gandhi took action during National Stroke Awareness Month by partnering with the American Heart Association and AdventHealth to speak and educate the community about stroke risk factors, recent research, and how to recognize symptoms.

Setting him apart from others, Dr. Gandhi recognizes the importance of tailoring treatments to each patient. “There are never two patients who are the same whether it’s a brain tumor, trigeminal neuralgia, or a spinal problem. Our goal is to find the least invasive way to treat your condition, often avoiding surgery all together.”
Dr. Gandhi’s treatment philosophy is to provide the same care that he would expect for his family and friends dealing with medical issues.

Personable and committed, Dr. Gandhi is devoted to providing the most advanced neurosurgical care throughout Central Florida.
