With over 35 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Samuel S. Wakim, DDS, owner of Clermont Lakes Dental Care, has been proudly serving the Western Orange and South Lake County communities since 2017. Known for his compassion, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care, he has earned a stellar reputation among his patients and colleagues alike.
Originally from Texas, Dr. Wakim graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio in 1990, the nation’s top dental school (USN&WR). He began his career in San Francisco, working alongside renowned cosmetic dentist Dr. Sam Ayoub, where he gained invaluable experience in smile design. He also launched several rural healthcare clinics in Northern California, many of which still serve communities more than 30 years later.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Wakim actively embraces new technology and continuing education. He currently serves on the Conventions Committee of the Florida Dental Association and travels worldwide to attend conferences, staying at the forefront of modern dentistry. His dedication has earned him the distinction of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). In recognition of his integrity and service, he was also named a Fellow of the International College of Dentists (FICD), the highest global honor in dentistry.
At Clermont Lakes Dental Care, patients experience a fully transparent office equipped with advanced 3D technology, same-day crown and bridge services, and a wide range of treatments—from implants and orthodontics to laser dentistry and Invisalign. The practice was again recently voted Best Dental Office in Lake County, with Dr. Wakim also named Best Dentist and Best Oral Surgeon.
