Erik received his Juris Doctor from FSU’s College of Law, where he was a member of the Florida State Law Review and Journal of Transnational Law, and graduated with High Honors, Order of the Coif, and Book Awards in Evidence, Arbitration, and Federal Securities Litigation Seminar. After graduation, his legal career began at Akerman, LLP where he practiced for 20 years in its Commercial Litigation Department and was an equity shareholder before founding Hawks Law Group.
