As Managing Shareholder of Hawks Law Group, Erik brings over 30 years of experience in complex business litigation. His practice covers disputes involving business transactions, contracts, real estate, corporate governance, business valuation, and high-stakes “bet-the-company” cases. He has successfully represented clients before courts, arbitrators, and administrative agencies across Florida, earning the trust of national corporations, prestigious law firms, developers, contractors, executives, and thriving local enterprises.
A graduate of Florida State University College of Law, Erik earned his Juris Doctor with High Honors, Order of the Coif, and Book Awards in Evidence, Arbitration, and Federal Securities Litigation Seminar. While serving on both the Florida State Law Review and Journal of Transnational Law, he laid the foundation for a distinguished career. He began his practice at Akerman LLP, where he spent 20 years in the Commercial Litigation Department and was an equity shareholder before founding Hawks Law Group.
From his Orlando headquarters, Erik serves clients statewide—delivering big-firm quality with boutique-level attention and cost efficiency. His philosophy is simple: success is defined by his clients’ satisfaction and long-term trust.
