In the authentic Italian tradition the Chef and owner, Francesco Aiello, believes freshness is the most important thing. Combine whole ingredients by hand with heart using the time honored open flame cooking method and the results are delicious. From the hand made mozzarella to artisanal pizzas, pastas, and salads the Chef’s passion for quality is a delight. Chef Francesco insists that every meal should feel like an Italian wedding feast. Customers marvel at the “wow factor” sized portions. Chef Francesco leads the kitchen, bringing his passion for high quality, authentic Italian cuisine to every plate that is served. Born in Palermo the Chef’s passion for great Italian food began at a young age watching his father, a pastry chef, cook at home. His love for cooking grew after attending Instituto Alberghiero, culinary school in Palermo.
Determined to make the food more authentic the Chef sought out local farmers. He discovered Uriah’s Urban Farms, a local Tampa producer, who provides “farm to table” fresh fruits and vegetables now being served at the restaurant. The vertical gardens in Francesco’s provide “living greens” allowing the Chef and the Sous Chefs to select vegetables minutes before a dish is served.
The extensive wine list was chosen exclusively for Francesco’s by sommelier Pierluigi Gaeta.

Francesco’s now features a ten person Chef’s Table. The Chef will personally plan and prepare an amazing five course meal for important occasions and celebrations.
Beginning in January 2017 Francesco’s will be open on Sundays from 12 til 8 pm.
