Gretchen Ortiz is the founder of the Law Offices of Gretchen Ortiz, a boutique law firm serving all of Florida in the areas of Real Estate Law, Contract Disputes and Negotiations, Business Structures, Estate Planning, Probate, Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation. Gretchen’s inherent business acumen, unparalleled business and legal work ethic, coupled with her natural analytical skills and ability to strategize, combine to provide her clients with unrivaled legal advice and representation. It is Gretchen’s philosophy that every client’s rights is the firm’s priority. Therefore she makes sure that every client is well informed, and guided in the right direction.

Gretchen’s passion for law ensued after her own personal experience of being involved in a horrific car accident over twenty years ago with her two little ones on board, and undergoing the legal proceedings involved in resolving her auto insurance claim. As a result of her experience, she recognized an industry wide problem – lack of compassion, empathy, kindness and understanding for the injured. Faced with this problem, Gretchen knew she had do something about it in order to bring about change for others that would face similar circumstances in the future. Gretchen then decided to attend law school at Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida graduating with a Juris Doctorate Degree. After Attorney Ortiz established her firm, she has made it her and her firm’s mission to make every client feel like family by listening and understanding their legal needs with compassion and empathy, maintaining clear communication with the client throughout the legal process, thereby minimizing their stress, and earning their trust to build long lasting relationships. While Gretchen Ortiz is originally from Puerto Rico, she has resided in Florida for over 30 years. Active in her community, Gretchen serves in the Legal and Economic Development Committee for the Lake Nona Chamber of Commerce, as Faculty for the Florida Realtors Association, Chair to the Florida Association for Women Lawyer’s Journal, Vice President for AREAA and for the past 16 years she has been an active volunteer, and currently serves as legal advisor, for Hi Kid Foundation, N.A., devoting her time to an organization committed to improving the lives of children undergoing cancer treatment and other terminal illnesses and their families. It is Gretchen’s passion to help others and her belief that one must give back to the community that truly sets her apart from others in her field.
