Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Ilia is fluent in both English and Spanish. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University in Miami and a Juris Doctor from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. During law school, she actively participated in the Immigration Clinic and served as President of the Immigration Law Society.
Before founding her firm, Ilia practiced as an Associate Attorney, specializing in immigration law and corporate defense litigation. Her extensive experience has equipped her with the skills and knowledge to manage even the most complex cases in immigration courts and the U.S. Middle District Court of Florida. She is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to anticipate and counteract potential legal challenges.
Ilia is also deeply committed to giving back to her community. Her dedication to working with immigrants extends beyond her professional life; she provides pro bono legal services for unaccompanied immigrant children in Central Florida and volunteers with various nonprofits in Orange County, Florida.
Outside of her legal and community work, Ilia loves to travel and immerse herself in new cultures.
