Impassioned is a superlative that describes John Foster and Carina Leeson with Family Complex Litigation and Collaborative Group (FCLC Group). John was born and raised in Orlando. With over 43 years of complex litigation experience, he handles divorce and family law cases. In addition, he works with matters involving alimony, child support, custody, divorce, paternity, property division, domestic violence, and other marital and family-related issues.
John’s many accomplishments include being recognized by Best Lawyers® as the 2023 Collaborative Law: Family Law “Lawyer of the Year” in Orlando; as Florida Legal Elite for Marital and Family Law by Florida Trend; as Super Lawyers® for 11 consecutive years; and named the 2022 recipient of the William Trickel, Jr. Professionalism Award by the Orange County Bar Association. In addition, John is actively involved in the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar Association, currently serving and chairing several committees. He also is a founding member and serves on the advisory board of the American Academy for Certified Financial Litigators.
Carina is a family law and collaborative attorney and a Florida Supreme Court-certified family law mediator. Carina grew up in Orlando and attended law school at Nova Southeastern University College of Law. Before entering private practice, she was a Staff Attorney for the 15th Judicial Circuit in Palm Beach County. Carina later practiced family law in boutique and national law firms for over a decade.
