Originally from Easton, Pennsylvania, Mr. De Armas earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Florida State University. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the Florida State University College of Law.
Mr. De Armas began his career in 2013 as an Assistant Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Orlando. He has tried numerous cases to verdict having never lost a felony jury trial in his career. Prior to starting his own law firm, Mr. De Armas was a partner in a Plaintiff’s law firm that handled first party insurance disputes along with auto accident injury claims. Mr. De Armas was also employed by one of Florida’s largest insurance defense firms litigating automobile negligence, property claims, premise liability, and wrongful death claims, giving him a unique insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend claims.
In May of 2019 Mr. De Armas opened his own law practice aptly named “De Armas Law” and he has since recovered millions of dollars for his clients. Mr. De Armas primarily handles automobile accident cases along with first-party insurance claims. He has offices in Altamonte Springs, Tampa and Miami (by appointment only).
When not zealously representing his clients you can find Mr. De Armas playing with his German Shepherd “Lucy,” going to the beach, fishing, or as he would tell you “attempting” to play golf.
