Joseph Cioffi

Director of Marketing & Communications

Joseph Cioffi joined Foundation Academy in 2015. His prior work experience included the Walt Disney Company and his own private business, during which he developed original concepts for NFLPA. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Joe attended Penn State and Edinboro Universities to pursue his BFA.

Joe has a passion for the development of kids and found that Christian education blended his passion and interests into one business. In 2017, he undertook efforts to refine the branding elements of Foundation Academy, creating standards that suited the culture and the market. The collective efforts of both the Admission and Development offices established and implemented strategies that were true to their mission to build a foundation for life for their students. 

Along with a talented team, Joe helped spearhead changing their digital footprints, such as the schoolwide website and other online content. 

Foundation Academy has changed over the past six years, growing from 555 students at two campuses to today approaching 1100 for the 2022-23 school year at Plant St. and Tilden Campuses in Winter Garden and their newest campus, Lakeside, in Orlando. 

Joe credits the growth of Foundation Academy to the culture cultivated by President Dave Buckles and Vice-President of Education Carol Grosshans. Joe believes that developing a marketing strategy and implementing a plan that keeps its brand promises, truly understands its mission, and works together is a more straightforward proposition than an organization unsure of itself. 

The future for Foundation is bright. Foundation is opening a new educational addition at Tilden in March, with other expansions planned. In partnership with Family Church, Lakeside is also building to accommodate growth for the church and the school. 

Joe hopes to continue developing the FA brand into one in top-of-the-mind status for families seeking a first-class education where Christ is at the center.
