Joseph epitomizes our community’s values of humanitarianism, honesty, and public service. Joseph has a 30-year track record of investing in Central Florida Communities.
He spends about 30 hours a week volunteering. He currently serves as President of the Volusia/Flagler Boys and Girls Club, President of his Rotary Club, Vice President of the Volusia Hispanic Chamber, Advisory Board Member of Leadership West Volusia, Active mentor with Sister Build Network, and sits on the Board of Directors for MainStreet DeLand Association.
Joseph is a tireless advocate for our youth. This year, under his volunteer efforts and leadership, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Volusia and Flagler Counties opened their first “Teen Club” in Pierson, and they are slated to open a second “Teen Club” in Spring Hill. Along with record fundraising goals achieved for the organization, to continue the great mission of serving our youth.
He has over 30 years of corporate event experience and is known for his event planning throughout the country. Being highly engaged in our local communities is important and Joseph is passionate about supporting initiatives that impact our communities. Economic development and supporting small business growth have always been a passion of Joseph and he is an active member with local Chambers of Commerce.
It is hard to express in words how many lives Joseph has touched with his generosity and thoughtfulness, but it is his passion for improving the lives of our youth in our community that exemplifies servant leadership. Under Joe’s volunteer efforts over 1,000 children are served by our Boys and Girls Clubs. Joseph’s volunteer efforts are planting the seeds for our future leaders and positively impacting our community for years to come. We are truly a better community because of Joseph Hearn!
