J.C. Fuller, PA – Preserving Communities & Neighborhoods

Joyce grew up in Hyattsville, MD, Falls Church, VA. and moved to Honduras Central America  as a teenager to live among and serve the poor.  When she returned to the United States,  Joyce moved to Florida and earned her AA degree Summa Cum Laude from Manatee Community College, where she learned for the first time that she is the Great Grand-Niece of Chief Justice Melville Weston Fuller,  Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court 1888 – 1910.

Joyce earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction from Eckerd College and her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson School of Law where she received multiple scholastic recognitions.

After interning for the late Hon. Judge Alexander Paskay US Bankruptcy Court Middle District of Florida Tampa Division, and Hon. Judge Elizabeth Kovachevich  US District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Joyce moved to Orlando and worked under her first mentors:  Robert Taylor, Esq. and Harry Carls, Esq. at the Taylor & Carls law firm.

Having established a secure footing in community association law, Joyce and several of her dearest friends and her family stepped into the adventure of a lifetime:  starting the law firm JC FULLER, PA.

17 years ago, JC FULLER PA was founded on the principles of equity, fairness, kindness mercy, excellence, a tireless work ethic and a dedication to learning and applying the law.  The firm’s mission is to preserve neighborhoods – property and relationships – one case at a time.  “We strive to work things out between those who live in the communities that we serve.  However when we can’t reach settlement, we will go to court and fiercely advocate for our clients.”

Joyce’s success in the courtroom speaks for itself, earning her the respect of local current and former judges.

When asked about the secret to her successes, Joyce begins:  “If I don’t have the facts and if I don’t have the law, I don’t bring the case.  I am surrounded by a team that is instrumental to the firm’s success both inside and outside of the courtroom.   I have amazing colleagues from other law firms whose friendship and advice accounts for much of our success.  My staff is second to none.  We are a family.  Property managers and management companies also contribute to success for everyone.“

“Most of all, my clients make it easy.  They are community association boards of directors comprised of highly qualified, smart,  and amazing individuals.  It really is an honor to represent them.”

Joyce has published written works in various magazines and newspapers.  In addition to her love for writing, Joyce is a vocalist and has performed with bands and individually throughout her life.  On quiet days, Joyce takes out her oil paints and canvasses and creates art that is locally displayed and auctioned for various charities.

“Giving back to the community is the heart of our firm.  It has been our joy to help animals in need find homes, support various rescue groups and serve others. I am blessed to have such a full life.”
