Dr. Juliana Correal, DMD, is a highly respected dentist and the founder of ViVa Dental Studio where she provides exceptional dentistry with a focus on comprehensive and personalized treatment. Born in Colombia, her family relocated to Sarasota, Fl., when she was just 2 years old. Inspired by her family’s sacrifices and values, Dr. Correal has a deep sense of gratitude, work ethic, and humility. While working at a local dental office during high school, she was able to see firsthand the impact a confident smile can have.
Dr. Correal pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where she met her husband, Douglas. Following her time in Gainesville, she moved to Miami to work as a Research Assistant while earning her Master of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. This experience deepened her understanding of patient care and esthetics, leading her to dentistry as the ideal way to combine her interests. Following graduation, Dr. Correal returned to Gainesville to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. Her academic journey was marked by her dedication to excellence and a passion for giving people the confidence to smile. She has furthered her skills through advanced training in various aspects of dentistry, including restorative and cosmetic procedures, ensuring that she remains abreast of the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques.
Dr. Correal has been a general dentist in the central Florida area for almost 15years, and she is renowned for her gentle approach and dedication to creating a comfortable, stress-free environment for her patients. She believes that effective communication and empathy are key components of quality care, and she strives to build strong, trusting relationships with each patient she treats. Her practice focuses on preventive care and creating smiles, aiming to help patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health through education and personalized treatment plans.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Correal is actively involved with Kids Beating Cancer in memory of Luca Arnaldo. She is passionate about raising awareness and support in the fight against pediatric cancer. She also loves exploring the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with her family, and watching her two daughters (Valentina, Victoria) competitively dance. Her commitment to both her patients and community exemplifies her dedication to improving lives through exceptional dental care.
