Kari Carswell is a dynamic Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sales professional at Alliance Sales & Marketing, specializing in accelerating growth for small and emerging food brands. Leveraging over 15 years of industry experience, Kari’s focus is on developing powerful, data-driven sales strategies, creating impactful solutions, and building strategic marketing programs. Her dedication extends beyond simple shelf placement; she is committed to building sustained brand equity for her clients through savvy promotional support and long-term strategic initiatives.
Kari’s career includes key sales roles at major CPG powerhouses such as Kraft Foods, Clorox, and Conagra. This background provided her with deep, cross-functional expertise in selling at every level, from individual store execution and regional management to headquarters-level negotiations. She also brings experience in disciplines like category management and sales and promotional analysis. This breadth of knowledge, combined with her strategic thinking and creativity, uniquely positions her to deliver collaborative, comprehensive solutions.
A native Floridian, Kari was raised in Chipley and is a proud alumna of the University of Florida, holding a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, and dual Master’s degrees in Management and International Business.
Outside of her professional life, Kari is a wife and mother of three, who cherishes time with her family, often found visiting Disney World or exploring local nature preserves.
Kari is a passionate leader, serving on two non-profit boards. In 2024, she was elected to the Florida Grocery Manufacturer’s Representatives (GMR) Board and immediately became an agent for change, spearheading initiatives to expand member networking events.
Kari is also involved in Florida NextUp, where, as Programming Chair, she drove initiatives to foster deeper member engagement. Her recognized impact led to her selection as Incoming Vice Chair for 2025, a role where she will continue to focus on expanding the organization’s member events and market footprint.
