“Waste no more time arguing about what a good man should be. Be One.” – Marcus Aurelius
These are the words that Karl tries to keep at the forefront of his life, whether as a husband and father, or as a Florida-licensed attorney and certified circuit civil and appellate attorney.
Karl attended Loyola University New Orleans, where he earned his Juris Doctor. He began his career as an assistant public defender. He transitioned to the private sector, working for insurance companies and corporations. He handled claims as diverse as construction defect claims, personal injury claims, wrongful death claims, and premises liability, and product liability claims.
That experience gave him the knowledge and skills he needed to switch career paths and represent injured plaintiffs in personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and negligent security claims. His years of trial experience allowed him to be recognized by the Florida Bar as a Board-Certified Civil Trial Specialist, a title less than 5% of all Florida attorneys can claim.
In 2022, he earned his LL.M. in Litigation Management from Baylor University, and in 2023, he began work as a full-time mediator. This allowed him to use his extensive knowledge of the law and ability to communicate with others to assist parties with alternative dispute resolution, helping them avoid the risk, uncertainty, and costs of trial.
Karl is a firm believer that life should be about advancing your education in an attempt to better yourself, and in keeping with that mindset, he is enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University, pursuing his master’s degree in American History.
He is admitted to practice in all courts in Florida, both state and federal. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators. Martindale Hubbell rates him AV-Preeminent.
