The Law Offices of Katia L. Wilson, PLLC
Katia L. Wilson is a powerhouse in the field of criminal law, known for her fearless advocacy and unwavering commitment to justice. Since being admitted to the Bar in 2017, she has built a career defined by integrity, grit, and results. In 2021, Katia launched her own criminal defense firm, where she has continued to fight for the accused with tenacity—most notably securing a not-guilty verdict in a high-stakes Second Degree Murder trial.
Recognized as one of the National Black Lawyers’ “Top 40 Under 40,” Katia’s impact extends beyond the courtroom. She is a proud member of the Paul C. Perkins Bar Association and currently serves as President of the Legal Rattlers Alumni Association, a dynamic network of Florida A&M University College of Law graduates.
Deeply passionate about youth justice, Katia is a vocal advocate for young people charged as adults, working tirelessly to ensure their voices are heard and their futures protected. Her dedication to criminal justice reform also led her to create the podcast First Day Out, where she interviews formerly incarcerated individuals about their journeys, reintegration, and the systemic issues that led to their incarceration.
Katia’s mission is simple but powerful: fight hard, stand tall, and never forget who she’s fighting for. Her work is driven by a belief that every person deserves strong, compassionate representation and a second chance.
