Khalid Muneer, founder and owner of Jupiter Properties inc, has successfully built a real estate brokerage firm from one employee to 27  over a period of 20 years with an emphasis on service and an international staff capable of servicing a culturally diverse customer base.”Failure to interface with foreign or cross cultural companies means revenue loss and you are not on par with your culturally competent competitors” and hence his company with its agents from 17 different countries speaking 16 different languages gives it an edge over its rival. Khalid himself has  worked and lived in 10 countries around the Globe as well as visiting more than 52 and learning 7 languages in his previous career in International Banking.

As well as being a business leader,Khalid is probably better known in Orlando for his passion for community and public service and in 2020 he ran  for Orange county property appraisers position for which he is well qualified.

He has served in various Leadership positions in central Florida,President of Asian American Chamber of Commerce CFL(2016,2020),Executive committee of the Orlando Economic Development commission,Chairman of  the city board on certification of minority businesses and the Board of the Harbor House(prevention of Domestic violence against women) to name a few.

“The covid 19 has created a situation where domestic violence has increased but the victims are tolerating it as they do not want to go to a shelter to live with other victims with increased risk of exposure to the pandemic.”

 As a graduate of Orlando Leadership class 97,education is a very important part of Khalids life.He is also graduate of Political Leadership institute,International Drive Leadership class 2021,Apopka chamber of commerce leadership class 2021 and currently in the Winter Park chamber of commerce  Leadership class 2022.

“Being a 30 year resident of central Florida,I did not realize what was in our backyard in the International drive area, Winter Park,Apopka and the 7counties in terms of history and attractions before attending these leadership programs.They are an excellent way to connect with your current and future leaders and stay up to date on the development projects.”

Khalids service to the central Florida community over the decades has been recognized at the local and national level by numerous awards.These include Orange  county Mayors distinguished Asian American leader award,Society of Emotional intelligence leadership award, recognition on the floor of US congress,International leadership Foundation award(Washington),Latino Leadership council award.

However despite all his achievements and recognitions,the role he really cherishes is being a father to 5 children(4 Gators) and grandfather to 3 and sharing their successes.
