Chirag J. Patel MD, FACS
Dr. Patel is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. He has an innate passion to help patients see their best using cutting-edge technology and the latest techniques. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Florida, and completed his Ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Recognized as a leader in vision correction, Dr. Patel was one of two surgeons from Florida invited to Staar Surgical’s 2024 North American Surgeon Summit.
Umar T. Ahmed, OD
Born and raised in Virginia, Dr. Ahmed graduated from Virginia Tech with dual degrees in Biology and Psychology. After earning his Doctor of Optometry, he completed a residency in Low Vision at Lake City VA Medical Center. Dr. Ahmed is a perfect fit for our practice, as he is a firm believer that providing patients with the highest level of care requires a team approach. Using leading edge technology, Dr. Ahmed expands our surgical care team to ensure that our patients receive the best possible visual outcome that aligns with their needs.
