Inspired by physician parents, Dr. Mahnaz Qayyum discovered that health and beauty requires constant time and attention. Dr. Mahnaz Qayyum has practiced in Orlando, Florida since 2004 and offers her services at two locations: Family Care Specialists of Orlando (Dr. Phillips location) and Elysium Medical Group (Haines City location).
Patients can only achieve success if they regularly maintain their health and beauty. Dr. Mahnaz Qayyum can educate patients first then shift the focus onto a preventative mindset, and finally reminds patients to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Prescription pills are less important than a healthy mindset. This holistic approach includes Beauty and Aesthetic practices. Patients continue to lose weight and Dr. Mahnaz Qayyum continues to reduce wrinkles and frown lines.

Patients are asked detailed questions about their lifestyle and eating habits. It is essential to take these into account along with personal habits as well as personality, likes and dislikes. Not only does she deal with a patient’s day to day requirements, but she also specializes in anti-aging, hormone replacement therapy and weight loss. Her philosophy is to establish and maintain the best quality of life. First, she gets to know the patient’s personality and background. She then asks patients about their health and beauty goals. A plan is jointly crafted to achieve the patient’s health and beauty goals.
A large part of her practice is weight loss. Once patients have reached their medical and weight goals they can discuss aesthetics. Multiple services are offered: skin resurfacing, Botox and fillers. These are non-invasive procedures with very little down time. Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is also offered for men and women. HRT is ideal to maintain patients’ energy and sexual needs.
Elysium Medical Group has offices in Orlando and Davenport, Florida. Dr. Qayyum is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She completed her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from King’s College, University of London, United Kingdom. She is a member of The American Academy of Family Physicians. She is affiliated with Advent Health. She also teaches and mentors medical and nurse practitioner students.
In her spare time she loves to travel with her husband and two children.
