Makom Fowe Powell

General Dentistry

Dr. Makom Powell was born in France and raised in Cameroon, Africa. She moved to the US to continue her education where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Doctor in Dental Medicine degrees from the University of Florida, Gainesville FL.

With more than seven years of experience in the dental field, Dr Powell has dedicated a lot of her work towards improving the dental health of the most underserved communities in Central Florida.

Dr Powell currently works as an associate at the Osceola Community Health Services in Kissimmee FL where her professionalism has earned her the appreciation and trust of her patients. She has future plans of opening her own practice.

Dr Powell prides herself on taking a modern, conservative approach to dentistry and she is frequently described by patients as having a calming demeanor with a gentle touch. Patient comfort and trust are of utmost importance as she strives to listen intently and answer any questions regarding treatment or oral health. She is committed to providing the highest level of care and satisfaction.  Dr Powell and her team are dedicated to making each visit smooth, informative and pain free.

Family has always been a very important part of Dr Powell’s life. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending quality time with her husband, their 2 children and extended family.
