Sherris Legal, P.A. Celebrates 20th Anniversary
This year marks a significant milestone for Mary Sherris and Sherris Legal P.A. as they celebrate 20 years of serving the Orlando community and central Florida with dedication and passion. Mary Sherris is a licensed attorney with the Florida Bar and managing partner of Sherris Legal, P.A. Alongside her attorney brother and law partner, Jim Sherris, they have been proud to navigate the complex issues in the areas of Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Civil Rights Violations, Immigration Law, and Social Security Disability.
“Empowering others to take charge of their own lives again,” has always been part of Mary Sherris’ life mission. Mary is a civil trial attorney who began her career in central Florida as a criminal prosecutor with the State Attorney’s Office fighting for victims of crime. Since then, Mary has been seeking justice for victims of negligence or intentional misconduct; protecting people’s constitutional rights; and helping people realize the American dream through lawful U.S. citizenship. She is more committed than ever to fighting for the underdog and being a beacon of hope for those seeking justice and fair treatment.
“Our journey began in 2004 with a clear vision: to offer personalized, compassionate, and empowering legal representation,” emphasizes Mary. Today, Sherris Legal, P.A. remains steadfast in their mission, continuously evolving to meet the diverse needs of their clients. “One of the hallmarks of our firm is our bilingual capability, ensuring that we can effectively communicate with and represent our clients, regardless of language barriers,” she says. As first generation Greek Americans, inclusivity is a priority. “We are more than just a law firm; we are a team and a family.”
Mary’s love for helping others fuels all her life’s pursuits. She values the time she spends supporting The Sharing Center in Longwood, Florida where she has been serving on the Board of Directors since 2020. “This is a vital organization that provides essential resources to those struggling with poverty and homelessness,” says Mary. She also sits on the board of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, an institution which promotes cultural enrichment, education, community engagement and support for local artists in central Florida. These local charities reflect her values and remain close to her heart.
“As we reflect on the past 20 years, we are filled with gratitude for the trust our clients have placed in us and the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives,” continues Mary.
