Dr. Miguel Lis-Planells is a nationally and internationally recognized neurosurgeon with over 28 years of experience. He obtained his medical degree from Our Lady of the Rosary University in Bogota, Colombia and post-graduate training in Neurosurgery at the University of California Irvine and Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. His professional affiliations included the Detroit Medical Center where he was Vice-Chair of Neurosurgery at Sinai-Grace Hospital for several years before coming to Florida in 2015. 

Dr. Lis-Planells is known for the compassionate and conservative approach to the treatment of his patients, with special interest is the care and management of  post-traumatic and degenerative spine conditions. Currently, he is affiliated with Premier Orthopedics of Orlando, a well established practice with multiple locations in Central Florida.
