Orlando Health Neurosurgery
Dr. Mitchell Supler brings over 25 years of neurosurgical experience to Central Florida. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine, receiving the Lyerly Award for Excellence in Neurosurgery. He completed his residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Florida in 1996 and has been certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons since 1999. He has served as Chief of Surgery at Orlando Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Florida, and currently holds the position of Director of the Neurospine Center of Excellence at the same institution.
Dr. Supler is excited to announce that endoscopic spine surgery will be offered at Orlando Health Central Hospital. This minimally invasive procedure requires only a small incision of 8–10 mm and offers advantages such as reduced soft tissue dissection, minimal blood loss, less scarring, shorter hospital stays, and earlier functional recovery.
Dr. Supler excels in treating recreational and professional golfers with spinal disorders. He holds multiple certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute and was a featured speaker at the World Golf Fitness Summit.
He also specializes in artificial disc replacement for the cervical and lumbar spines. These procedures preserve mobility, minimize surrounding tissue damage, and facilitate a swift return to an active lifestyle.
Treating pain arising from the sacroiliac joint is one of Dr. Supler’s greatest passions. As over 20% of back pain may originate from this often-overlooked joint, he is actively involved in research to develop more refined surgical techniques.
Dr. Supler’s extensive knowledge, advanced training, and experience make him a valuable asset to Orlando Health Neurosurgery. He is committed to leveraging the latest proven technologies tailored to each patient’s needs.
