The Orlando Museum of Art (OMA) knows how to throw a party. This year’s New Years Eve celebration was no exception. After three years, the OMA did a comeback, ringing in 2023 with much anticipation.
Among the decadent art displays was an array of tasteful Hors d’eourves and desserts. Attendees had the option to roam around the museum’s hallways and visit multiple galleries throughout the night.
When it came to music, you could easily find yourself swaying to beats by the Breezeway trio set and to music by DJ Nick Whitney Set and DJ GAY-Z and DJ Totally Cool Dad. Speaking of swaying, there was a couple who spent majority of the night on the dance floor and weren’t shy to admit it was their first NYE together, and one to certainly remember. They two of them had recently met and decided to attend the OMA together as it would be the first time for both. Aside from love being in the air, the event hosted a magical display of fireworks right outside in the garden. At exactly midnight, the night skies filled with dazzling lights and beauty, much fitting to the event.
It was certainly a magical night to remember.
We look forward to the centennial celebration in 2024. Proceeds from the events benefit the Orlando Museum of Art. Follow OMA to keep up with future events, and to support your local art museum!
