Dr. Osman Ahmad provides compassionate and exceptional care for your child by conducting a comprehensive evaluation. As a UCF graduate, Dr. Ahmad is dedicated to being the premier pediatric gastroenterologist for his Central Florida community.

Upon graduation from UCF, Dr. Ahmad earned a Medical Doctorate (MD) degree from St. Matthew’s University of Medicine in Grand Cayman Islands. He completed his Pediatric Residency at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, and he pursued additional training in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After completing his medical training, he returned to the Sunshine State to join the pediatric gastroenterology division at UF Health Shands Children Hospital as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Ahmad returned to Orlando to purse his dream of providing medical care to the greater Central Florida community. He established his own pediatric gastroenterology practices in Altamonte Springs and Port Orange, Florida. His office philosophy is centered on creating a high standard of care that is innovative, compassionate, and efficient.  His office is equipped with the experience and technology to provide a welcoming environment for patients and families. The office utilizes the most up-to-date practices and technology in pediatric gastroenterology.  Dr. Ahmad is best known for his comprehensive evaluation and management of common to complex disease involving the gastrointestinal, liver, and pacreas. His treatment specializations include inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease, and abdominal pain.

Dr. Ahmad has worked at leading academic institutions and brings that experience and knowledge to his practice. He is a board certified Pediatrician and Pediatric Gastroenterologist. Dr. Ahmad is also fluent in Urdu.

In his free time, Dr. Ahmad is very involved in his community. He is big on family time, enjoys traveling, water sports, and playing basketball. He is a die hard Orlando Magic fan!
