An Established Resource for Family Law

If you’re looking for a trustworthy and compassionate family & marital law attorney, look no further than Rebecca L. Palmer. With almost three decades of practicing family law, Rebecca has been the go-to resource for those in need of sound legal advice and representation for their complex family law cases. Clients continually rave about her grace and empathy when working with her and consistently reach out to her for guidance through their challenging family law issues, consoling, and understanding.

When first starting her legal career, Rebecca was drawn to the courtroom and represented her clients with litigating tactics. While she still enjoys litigating in the courtroom, Rebecca knows the importance of collaboration and getting to the table with strategies to alleviate time and money before going to court.  Negotiation methods that involve diligence and thoughtfulness are what make Rebecca a leader in her industry.

Colleagues invariably refer clients to Rebecca due to her alternative dispute resolution and collaborative law techniques that she has mastered through her family law journey. Jim West, MA, LMHC, NCC, and President of Total Life Counseling says, “Rebecca has helped many of our clients, and she cares about the family and tries to handle divorce while attempting to minimize the impact on the children involved!” Her attention to detail and compassion for each client and case is why Rebecca is the first call when individuals are looking for family law representation.

Along with being awarded by her peers “Orlando Best Lawyer” and rated as a “Super Lawyer” for family law, Rebecca is also a certified mediator for the state of Florida and has developed a true passion for mediation. The ability to bring all parties to the table to potentially resolve issues in a family law case is rewarding to Rebecca and always justifies her position as an experienced and honorable mediator.

Rebecca also loves her community. She has been President of the Central Florida Association of Women, the President of the Orlando Young Professionals, an adjunct professor in the areas of Legal Ethics, Business Law, Trial Techniques, and Family Law at Stetson University, Barry University, Southern College, and the University of Central Florida. Palmer also taught for several years at Emory University for the trial advocacy program. Rebecca was also the benefactor for the Howard Middle School mock trial courtroom for their legal studies program. She is a published author and speaker and has appeared frequently on Fox 35 News Orlando.
