Dr. Nieves-Ramos was born and raised right here in Orlando, Florida. He returned to the Central Florida area after working in San Diego, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, and Beverly Hills where he refined and polished his skills in interventional pain medicine.

Dr. Ramos received a degree in Molecular Biology at the University of Central Florida. He went to medical school at The Ohio State University where his interest in Pain Medicine began. There he developed training protocols for the Anesthesiology department residency program. At the University of Miami he worked with world-renowned experts in lower back pain therapy. Dr. Ramos then moved to the west coast where he worked as an attending Anesthesiologist at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, California. There he completed an accredited fellowship in Pain Medicine. He has developed treatment plans for rare painful conditions afflicting athletes and performing artists. He has presented at National conferences for the North American Neuromodulation Society. He has developed and taught many practitioners new techniques in the field of neuromodulation for pain control and belongs to a national consortium of advancing technologies in the field of Neuromodulation where he is involved in new product development of Spinal Cord stimulation devices.

Dr. Ramos is both Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Subspecialty Certified in Interventional Pain Medicine. Dr. Ramos uses a multi-modal treatment approach for every patient. If basic treatments fail or are intolerable, Dr. Ramos is experienced with all new cutting-edge innovative treatments and devices that are supported with scientific evidence. Dr. Ramos currently practices at Central Florida Pain Relief Centers, utilizes multiple Surgery Centers in the Central Florida Area, and is affiliated with Advent Health and Orlando Health.
