CRT Studio – Interior Design

Rob Turner has been a part of the Central Florida design community for over twenty years. During that time, he has completed numerous custom residential projects in Florida, California, New York, Argentina, The Bahamas, and Mexico. In parallel to his custom residential clients he has also been the interior design team lead on 15 local, southeastern and national award-winning show houses two of which were New American Homes.

Rob discovered his passion for interior design at the age of 14 when he worked as an office assistant for an interior designer in his home town of Naples, Fl after school and on Saturdays. He went on to study interior design and graduate from the University of Florida. During his time there he participated in three study abroad programs sponsored by the University of Florida. Two were in the Yucatan, Mexico and his final semester was spent at the Vicenza Institute of Architecture in Vicenza, Italy. This period of time is where Rob developed his core understanding of interior design, art and antiquities from around the world.

Rob founded CRT Studio in 2005. The firm’s expertise ranges from custom interior design, interior detailing, custom furniture design, as well as the procurement of furniture, art and accessories. CRT Studio creates a clean, focused approach to contemporary, transitional, coastal and traditional design.

Formal training is one thing but he considers the interaction and collaboration with his clients, industry professionals and tradesman where the magic happens. There are many hours spent during the planning stages to insure a seamless execution of projects. Rob’s ability to focus on the needs of his clients while delivering a truly unique project is what he strives for. Over the years Rob has had the privilege of working with numerous discerning clients, many of which become repeat customers. He is very grateful for these relationships and experiences and looks forward to the future of Central Florida and CRT Studio.

His work has been published in Florida Design, Atomic Ranch, Custom Builder, Florida Travel & Life, Interior Appeal as well as the Architectural Digest website.
